As part of the implementation of the cooperation agreement between Khatam -Al-Nabieen University and the Institute of Management and Accounting, an academic counseling session was held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, focusing on students interested in the field of economics at the Institute of Management and Accounting in Ghazni Province.
This session, organized by the Faculty of Economics and the Counseling and Career Center of Khatam -Al-Nabieen University in Ghazni, with the coordination of Mr. Fetrat, the respected Head of Public Relations, began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and continued with remarks from Dr. Seyed Mohammad Taqi Hashemi, a faculty member of the Faculty of Economics. In his speech, he explained the importance of knowledge and the pivotal role of science in the development of societies, elaborating on the role of economics in solving complex economic and social problems and emphasizing the necessity of paying attention to this science in the modern world.
The second speaker of the program was Professor Eshaq Ali Fahimi, Dean of the Faculty of Economics. He introduced the infrastructure and resources of Khatam -Al-Nabieen University in the field of economics and highlighted the educational capacities and research opportunities of this discipline at the university. In another part of his speech, the Dean announced future university plans for expanding the department and creating links with the labor market.
The final speaker of the event was Professor Kamaluddin Azimi, Head of the Counseling and Career Center. He spoke about the role of soft skills in academic and career success, emphasizing the importance of skills such as effective communication, time management, teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking. He noted that these soft skills, as a complement to specialized knowledge, play a critical role in achieving personal and professional success. He also introduced the Counseling and Career Center of Khatam -Al-Nabieen University as a partner for students in providing guidance and improving soft skills
The session, which was well received by students and officials of the institute, served as a valuable opportunity to explore potential academic paths in economics and to raise awareness of the skills necessary for success in the job market through counseling support.
