In line with enhancing the research capabilities of university faculty members and promoting the effective use of modern technologies in the path of academic development, a specialized educational workshop entitled “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research” was held on Tuesday, May 7, 2025, at the Office of the University Chancellor of Khatam Al-Nabieen University, Ghazni Branch.
The workshop was organized by the Professional Development Directorate, the University-wide E-learning Committee, and the Faculty of Economics E-learning Committee.
With active participation of faculty members and university researchers—both in-person and online—the workshop focused on exploring the transformative role of emerging AI technologies in improving the quality of academic research.
During the session, Assistant Professor Mohammad Jalil Karimi, a faculty member of the Faculty of Economics, presented practical applications of artificial intelligence in various stages of the research process.
The main themes of the workshop included:
- Introduction to advanced AI platforms such as Perplexity and NotebookLM;
- Methods for optimizing the collection and processing of research data;
- Intelligent content analysis techniques in scientific studies
