The review
session of the first volume of the textbook of General Criminal Law (authored
by Dr. Khadim Hossein Habibi) was held! This meeting was held by the Directorate
of Scientific Research in cooperation with the Directorate of Law Department of
Khatam-Al-Nabieen University (PBUH) Ghazni Branch and the Directorate of Sharia
Department of Sultan Mahmud Ghaznavi Institute of Higher Education on
08/08/1403 in Abu Rihan Assembly Hall with the participation of professors,
students and external guests.
The meeting
started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Mr. Fakuri, and
after that, the host of the program, Mr. Mustafa Hakimi, invited the author and
critics to come to the place and continue the program.
In the next
step, each of the critics, Professor Sayed Amin Amiri, Dr. Mohammad Javad
Samimi, and Professor Mohammad Reza Marafet, reviewed and presented the
following points:
- The above work is a textbook;
- It has been discussed with a comparative approach between the subject laws and jurisprudence;
- The title of the Ministry of Higher Education has been observed in its writing;
- The pen of the writer is fluent and scientific;
- There are maximum standards for writing textbooks (such as the main and secondary goals at the beginning of the lessons, stating the results and summarizing at the end of each lesson and posing questions related to each lesson);
- This work is unique in its kind in Afghanistan according to the mentioned cases;
- Numerous and up-to-date sources have been used in it, which is stronger and more mature with the combination of years of teaching experience of the author and has the ability to be a source for master’s students as well;
- .. While presenting the strengths of this work, the critics stated that in some cases there are minor problems in editing and typing, and if the author fixes it in the next editions, it will not be without fruit.
In the final part of the program, the author of the excellent and valuable work of the first volume of the textbook of general criminal law, while thanking and appreciating the good opinion of the critics, said that the culture of criticism and acceptance of criticism is less institutionalized in our society, and in criticism, a distinction should be made between criticism and revenge. The meaning of criticism is to reveal the beautiful points and shortcomings that the author has neglected. Individual growth and development and social progress are achieved through the criticism of the sympathetic and no one is without the need of reminding and criticizing others.
In the following, the author stated; The textbook of general criminal law, volume one, is the result of my years of effort and teaching, and I sincerely thank and appreciate the unreserved cooperation of Mr. Dr. Hossein dad Kamran and Mr. Dr. Mohammad Javad Samimi in publishing this work. Also, the author promised to publish the second volume of General Criminal Law in the coming year.
