Holding a futsal sports tournament is one of the annual programs and policies of Khatam-Al-Nabieen University (PBUH) Ghazni branch in order to create a lively academic environment, encourage students to play sports, increase the spirit of empathy and cooperation, and increase the level of health and wellness of students and academics. Based on this, the program of the 2024 student futsal tournament, under the title “Empathy and Unity Cup”, has been prepared by the Department of Culture, Invite and Islamic Guidance of the university, and its opening ceremony will be held on Saturday 1/06/2024 at 1:00 p.m. It was held in the hall of Iftikhar sports complex.
At the beginning of this ceremony, in which the honorable president of the university, the honorable administrative-financial vice president, professors and employees of the university, students and volunteers participating in this tournament were present, Mr. Dr. Habibi, the honorable president of the university, spoke and at the beginning of the speech, he praised everyone’s efforts. This year, the Minister of Culture, Invite and Islamic Guidance, Mr. Dr. Bismillah Mahdavi, made a commendation. Then, referring to the title of the tournament as the “Cup of Empathy and Unity”, he called for the students’ empathy and cooperation in order to achieve collective goals, also in all areas of life, and expressed his hope that this empathy and cooperation at the national level and among the government and the nation have also been formed and everyone should strive and fight for the development, honor and pride of this land. At the end of the speech, Dr. Habibi wished success to all the teams participating in this tournament and asked the players to observe ethics and rules during the games.
After Dr. Habibi’s speech, the opening ribbon of the games was cut by the president and respected professors of Ghazni branch of Khatam-Al-Nabieen University and Khatam-Al-Nabieen Institute of Health Sciences of Ghazni and the tournament officially started. It should be noted that 12 teams from the Faculties of Medical Medicine, Economics, Law and Political Sciences and Khatam -Al-Nabieen Institute of Health Sciences of Ghazni participated in this tournament and will compete with each other for two weeks.
