In order to increase awareness and improve the capacity of students and employees, the Faculty of Economics, in cooperation with the electronic education sub-committee, held a scientific seminar on Tuesday, 8/29/1403 under the title “Cryptocurrency Economy; Why and how?” It was held in the presence of professors, students and administrative staff in the Aburihan hall of Khatam Al-Nabieen University, Ghazni branch.
This seminar started with the recitation of verses from Kalam Allah Majid and the performance of Dr. Yousef Rezaei and the speeches of Professor Ali Reza Haidari, Head of the Department of Economics, about the historical history of money, introduction of cryptocurrency and the difference between common currency and cryptocurrency (cryptocurrency) and Bitcoin continued. In these talks, Professor Haidari considered cryptocurrencies as one of the technological advances of the world today and pointed out that today, the increase in the use of digital currencies through virtual space to carry out exchanges instead of paper money, with a large and non-portable shape and volume, It has become more popular, and in the use of digital currency, an attempt is made to avoid the bad characteristics of current money, such as excessive printing and devaluation caused by it. In another part of the conversation, he noted that digital currency users should understand that no one in this system is in a position to predict the future of Bitcoin, which is one of the most famous types of digital currencies, and in fact, no currency should be Safe from bankruptcy or difficult conditions.
Then, professor Jalil Karimi, the vice-chancellor of financial administration of the university, gave a speech about the introduction of blockchain (BLOCK CHAIN) and called blockchain one of the innovations of the 21st century in the technology sector, and it is a platform for storing information in a safe, transparent and Decentralized introduced. Professor Karimi further explained how this technology works and how Bitcoin uses this technology.
