To better equip graduates and students with essential skills for entering the job market, succeeding in job interviews, and understanding job-seeking principles, a one-day workshop titled “Career Capacity Building for Graduates” was held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, by the Career Counseling and Employment Center, in collaboration with the Office of Graduate Affairs of Khatam -Al-Nabieen University (PBUH), Ghazni Branch, in the Abu Rayhan Conference Hall.

The workshop, attended by professors, administrative staff, graduates, and students of the university, commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. It continued with a speech by Mr. Kamaluddin Azimi, Head of the Career Counseling and Employment Center. In his remarks, Mr. Azimi welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of acquiring a diverse range of skills for students. He highlighted that success is influenced by several key factors:

  • Demographic factors
  • Psychological factors
  • Skill-based factors
  • Environmental and situational factors

He further described the job interview as a critical skill-based and contextual element—an opportunity for job seekers to demonstrate their personality, motivation, and real capabilities—where mindset, self-confidence, and communication skills play a central role.

Following this, Mr. Amir Dad Payman, a seasoned instructor and Director of Information and Communication Technology at the Norwegian Committee for Afghanistan, delivered the main presentation of the workshop. He drew on both personal experience and reputable international resources to address the topic of job interview skills and responded to the participants’ questions.
