An Informative seminar was held on Sunday, 13th November 2022 about South Asian University (SAU) and German University (DAAD) scholarships at Khatam-ul-Nabiyin University. This seminar, which was organized by the counseling section of the University in cooperation with the research committee of Economics Faculty, began with the recitation of some verses of Holy Quran and continued with the speeches of Mr. Hashemi, the head of counseling section of the university. In his speech, Mr. Hashemi welcomed the participants in the seminar and emphasized the importance and necessity of studying in foreign universities; he added that emigration and leaving one’s homeland are two different issues and behaviors, one is necessary and the other is reprehensible.

Then Sayed Abid Mousavi talked about how to get scholarship of (ASU) as well as what privileges and opportunities of this university have. Mr. Mousavi, who is one of the graduates of Computer Science Department of Khatam-ul-Nabiyin university and is among the top six students who studies his master’s degree at South Asia University (ASU). He added in his speech the advantages of the scholarship including: tuition payment, food, dormitory, trip payment and some other facilities. Then, one of the students who is studying online at German University (DAAD), explained about Scholarship and provided information how to get admission and obtain the scholarship of this university. In other part of his speech, while answering the students’ questions, he pointed out that it is not important to have extraordinary talent to get this scholarship, but it is the individual’s effort that is decisive. Presenting Diploma for bachelor’s degree and bachelor’s degree for master’s degree, as well as CV and letter of recommendation are among the required documents. Having TOEFL document with 79 scores or equivalent points, and a motivation letter are necessary too.
