In order to increase awareness and improve the capacity of students and implement the operational plan of the Faculty of Economics, on Wednesday, dated 16/8/1403, a student scientific seminar titled “Afghanistan’s economic issues; Lithium and the railway line and its role in the economy” was held in the Aburihan hall of Khatam -Al-Nabieen University, Ghazni branch, with the presence of professors and students.

This seminar, which was held at the initiative of the Faculty of Economics, began with the recitation of verses from Kalam Allah Majid and continued with the speech of Prof. Fahimi, the Honorable Dean of the Faculty of Economics. In this speech, while welcoming the audience and participants in the program, Prof. Fahimi praised the spiritual support of the respected president of the university, Dr. Habibi and the respected assistants, as well as the efforts of Dr. Mohammad Ishaq Mahdavi, who was responsible for guiding the students in this seminar. He thanked and said that the purpose of holding the student seminar, which is one of the important duties of the faculty, is to improve the level of capacity and capability of the students. Then, Professor Dr. Mahdavi spoke and mentioned the importance and necessity of Afghanistan’s economic issues, and the purpose of holding this seminar was transparency and information about potential capacities and underground resources and potentials that exist in Afghanistan. And he continued that familiarity with “Afghanistan’s economy” will make domestic and foreign investors trust and desire to invest in this country.

Another part of the program was the presentation of a seminar by Mohammad Javad Hamta, Ayat Khan Ehsani poor, and Abdul Qahar Faizi, students of the Faculty of Economics. Mr. Hamta discussed the economic role of the railway line in Afghanistan and explained its importance in the Afghan economy and added that Afghanistan is the 68th country that has joined the World Railway Organization and now this country has three active and semi-active railway lines. It deals with the transit of commercial goods. In his seminar, Mr. Ehsani poor also followed up on the other part of this issue and explained the economic role of the railway line in Afghanistan and added that with the development of railway lines in Afghanistan, the people of this country will see a reduction in costs and a reduction in the time it takes commercial goods to reach their destination. Taking the country of Afghanistan at the economic crossroads and the people’s enjoyment of railway facilities will be.

The next presenter of this seminar was Abdul Qahar Faizi, who discussed the role of lithium in the Afghan economy. While defining this precious material, he explained the economic role and its application and stated that by extracting this valuable material, there will be positive and valuable effects in creating jobs, eliminating unemployment and increasing the national income.

The end of this seminar was the speech of Dr. Yousef Rezaei, the representative of the professors, who considered the seminars presented beyond the faculty level and said that they should be taken into consideration at the university level.
