Khatam -Al-Nabieen University is one of the most reputable private universities in Afghanistan. With the decree number 299 of the President’s Office of Afghanistan and the official license of the Ministry of Higher Education with number 10, the university began its scientific and educational activities in 2007. Khatam -Al-Nabieen University currently has seven active faculties in eleven fields including jurisprudence and law, medicine, computer science, political science, economics and management, social sciences, engineering, electrical and construction engineering, business management, economic management, and medical technology in Kabul and Ghazni.
The university branch in Ghazni was approved by the Commission of the Ministry of Higher Education on November 25, 2011, with the Faculty of Law and Political Science, as stated in letter number 1429/581 dated November 29, 2011. Then, the request for the establishment of faculties of medicine and economics was approved in 2012, which has been operating in Ghazni since then. Currently, it has three active faculties in medicine, economics, law, and political science.
The university’s experienced faculty members, standard educational system, rich library with over 20,000 books, equipped laboratories, Khatam -Al-Nabieen Hospital, modern educational facilities and technology are among the important features of this university.
The evaluations of this university show that graduates from Khatam -Al-Nabieen University’s Ghazni branch have performed successfully and satisfactorily in their specialized fields in both government and private sectors.
In late 2018, the Ministry of Higher Education in Afghanistan ranked the university’s Faculty of Medicine among the top five medical faculties in the country. Furthermore, during the Exit Exam held by the National Examination Board in collaboration with the Medical Council of Afghanistan in 2022, Khatam -Al-Nabieen University’s Faculty of Medicine ranked first among private universities and third among both private and public universities in the country.
